do bike riders use gps? For {$keyword}

this is a homework thing

If by gps, you mean global positioning system, then the answer is yes. In fact, I have two of them. One is kept with my vehicle and the other travels on my person as I ride. I especially use one anytime I am going to go biking in an area that is unfamiliar to me. It allows me to mark on a digital map where I started my ride/left the truck, track how far I have travelled (even if it isn’t in a straight line), how fast I may be travelling, and gives me my location relative to my starting point within 4-10 feet. Granted, that it is just a tool and not 100 percent foolproof since it is a line of sight technology and obstructions can and do throw the signal off, it is still a very useful too overall.
